22 January

A Norwegian owner has engaged TMC to conduct the Condition Inspections of their long-term charter fleet.

The program will cover over 30 vessels to be inspected over a three-year period.

TMC is also assisting the owner with a desk-top review of the vessels’ Port State performance, Classification records and Technical reports, to help “Risk rank” vessels that will need to be inspected sooner, or with a greater frequently to help minimise non-compliance and detentions.

 

10 February

A Dubai based company engaged TMC to inspect a 3rd party owned Oil tanker for the purpose of a pre-purchase. Our first inspection for this client was in January. The feedback from the client was positive with regards to the clarity in our reports and the promptness of our service support.

 

25 March

TMC had a repeat inspection service request from a Chinese owner to evaluate a Panamax size geared bulk carrier for possible purchase deliberation.

This was the 7th inspection done on behalf of the owner since our first inspection on February 2019.

At TMC, we take pride in the quality and depth of our inspection scope and our resulting reports to assist all our clients in their business risk management and evaluation.

 

28 March

TMC was engaged by an Indonesia owner which operates it tugs and barges for the internal coal shipping business.

We inspected a total of eight tug and Barge sets and a floating self-loading facility for the client.

Our client commended us for the speed of our reporting and our prompt attention to their inquiries and have indicated their likelihood to re-engage us again for their next Condition Inspection program.
